The Challenge

Nomi Network needed to unify its voice across all communication channels for the first time in its eight-year history. Their existing messaging lacked cohesion and often risked falling into a "savior" narrative that didn’t align with the organization’s values. They sought clear, consistent, and ethical storytelling—alongside a strategy to drive stronger donor engagement and more effective fundraising campaigns.

The Solution

I led the creation of Nomi Network’s first ethical storytelling framework and developed a cohesive brand messaging strategy across web, email, blog, social media, and video content. I also led comms strategy for all fundraising campaigns and collaborated with the design and video teams to create multimedia stories that honored program participants with dignity and empathy.

The results

  • Increased website traffic by 750% during the 2023 Celebrate HER campaign

  • Helped raise $81,554 in the See Her THRIVE campaign — exceeding the fundraising goal by over $30,000

  • Boosted donor engagement with high-converting email and landing page copy

Celebrate Her Campaign | Landing Page Copy

For Nomi Network's 2024 Celebrate HER International Women’s Day campaign, I strategized and produced multimedia content across the landing page, email, social media, blog, and video channels. My content and marketing strategy increased website traffic and helped exceed the $30,000 goal for the second year in a row. A key part of the campaign involved collaborating with our videography team to capture stories from program beneficiaries in India, Cambodia, and the U.S. Three of these four video stories won 2024 Telly Awards, bringing greater exposure to Nomi Network's mission.
