The Challenge
For my senior thesis at Parsons, I set out to challenge the exclusivity in luxury fashion — especially around fit and body representation. I needed to communicate my unique design approach in a way that was emotionally compelling, while creating storytelling that could support my collection across professional and academic contexts.
The Solution
I developed messaging and storytelling for my luxury, body-adaptable womenswear collection — Metamorphose — including concept-driven lookbook language, line sheet copy, collection mission statement, and data storytelling. I conducted external research, including a survey of 20+ women, to understand their experiences with luxury fit and sizing. That data revealed a strong disconnect between traditional fashion ideals and real body diversity — 65% of respondents said their body type was not reflected in the luxury space, and 80% of petite women cited proportion as a recurring fit issue.
Through this lens, I wrote copy that positioned Metamorphose as a solution-driven design concept. Each piece was engineered to self-adapt across body types and evolve alongside the wearer, and the storytelling supported this through an inclusive, body-positive voice that was still aligned with luxury market standards. I wrote every element — from the collection mission to garment adjustment instructions — to reinforce this philosophy.

Translated personal values and academic research into professional, fashion-forward messaging
Created a lookbook and linesheet storytelling for panel review, resulting in one look being showcased in a Saks Fifth Ave NYC Interior Display
Spotlighted the gap in luxury fashion representation with compelling, data-informed copy
